Yabba Dabba Don't?

I confess....I dressed up my niece and nephew in costume and took pictures of them. And it wasn't Halloween.
Let me 'splain.
Gracie's voice has ALWAYS reminded me of Pebbles Flintstone. And Ryan, being all boy and not a man of huge words, reminded me of Bam-Bam. The rest happened like this...
Aunt H: Okay, guys! It's time to play dress-up!
Grace: Oh, no! We've seen those pictures of Abby! (our childhood cat that we liked to put in dresses....sometimes)
Ryan: What?
Ryan: Why does Aunt Holly think it's funny to dress me up in a leopard diaper cover and give me a bat?
Grace: GaGa Goo (She really got into the role).

Ryan: I know....she wants us to play golf! I knew I could find a way to make this manly.

Ryan: Aunt H, whatever you do, DON'T show these pictures to anyone.

ESPECIALLY my dad.

Aunt H: Okay, Ryan.

That is hysterical! You are such a fun aunt but now, why did you have those type of clothes around?? hmmm....looks like so much fun. Now, when can you take Ella and Laney :)

I didn't even know that you took those until just a couple of months ago when you gave me that shirt! That is so funny! Yes, Ryan and Grace could be Pebbles and BamBam, or Diego and Dora, or Frick and Frack. You name it!

You are such a great aunt! The kids are so lucky to have you in their lives! :) Love you!

Um....well, I actually had big plans to buy a really good costume for Grace and found Ryan's on E-bay, but it is VERY hard to find a Pebbles costume for a 2 year old. They do have skanky ones for adults, though - good to know.

Diego and Dora! That will be our next dress up date.

Thanks, girls. I just have so much fun with them...seriously just as much fun as with my friends! (Um, that's a little clue to my immaturity, I suppose).
